Community Night in Tyler was amazing tonight. So many wonderful kids; which means a lot of laughs, but at the same time, a lot of heartfelt moments. Feeling blessed beyond words for what God is doing. Shining light in the darkness, that’s our hope and our message. You can overcome anything you’re facing, just have hope and be encouraged in knowing that you’re never alone. Real talk. <3

We promote positive lifestyles and spread love, hope, and acceptance to our youth. We meet weekly with teens at various locations for an evening of fellowship called "Community Night." This was formed to provide a safe and unrestricted place for the youth to share the daily things they're going through. We also hold social events in different areas that provide productive things to do and positive influences to be around.

We're trying to bring unity to this generation and build up a radical community of kids who stand firm in their beliefs and fight the fight against destructive decisions together. We're hoping to take back our lost generation from all the things that are slowly killing teens off. We want the youth to know that there is HOPE, whether found in Christ or one's self. SKAD has a strong desire to see change and the only way to see it happen is to do something about it. We are not professionals, nor do we pretend to be, but we do have experience and are here for kids to talk to. Sometimes that is all one needs. You never know whose life could be changed or saved, by making yourself available.

As we continue to grow with new supporters our hope is that this message encourages others to join us in this movement, inspires people to act as leaders in their communities and catalysts for this generation. Let's not make this a trend, let's work together to make a dent in society and impact the world...
