Well know that the Lords love for you is consistent, unlike that of the world. So, put your faith in Him and don’t stop pressing into what HE has for you. Consider this a new season in your life and see what He wants for you; ask for direction and clarity. Hold your head up and be stoked for this new chapter/journey.
I know the crush factor is hard and believe me, it has happened to me time and time again, but the thing I’ve noticed is that it could be a little bit of both. Maybe you see some really awesome qualities in a person and also you’re stoked that you’re friends with them, but don’t let that create a distraction in your life. If it’s who God has for you, it’ll happen in the perfect timing, till then, be patient and remain focused. <3
I went to school last year, and it was one of the most amazing times of my life. It was a Bible college, and I just found everyone there to be so loving. I hadn't felt truly loved until that point. But now it's summer, and it's really hard living without all my friends that I made, and without that feeling of unconditional love. To make it even harder, I'm not going back another year. Even if I did go back, I feel like things have changed too much and it would just let me down. I also met some guy friends there, and in the past I've had trouble separating whether my feelings for guys are a crush, or if I'm just excited they'd want to be my friend.
